project 365 - day 216

I am not sure whoever said that cats were supposed to be neat. I am thinking mine didn't get the memo. I'm also not entirely sure which of them makes such a pig of themselves with the food, because I can't ever catch any of them in the act. I think it's one of the boys, as Lily seems just entirely too dainty to be such a mess. But I could be wrong.

project 365 - day 214

This is the Tidal Wave set, also from It's Just Jewelry. I have a great teal shirt that will be perfect with this set!

project 365 - day 213

I just got a huge shipment of jewelry in from my girl Kim over at It's Just Jewelry. She doesn't have a personal site, or I would link to it, but check out their catalog and then contact Kim Rhodes to place an order. She's a total doll and she'll hook you up! This one is the Ocho Rios, necklace and bracelet.

project 365 - day 212

For a few months now I have been attending Evelyn's jewlery making classes. Yes, I've been making jewelry on my own now for almost 10 years, but they are still fun to attend, and designers can always learn from other designers. Not to mention the fact that those who know me know I'm all about helping other women in business, so this was right up my alley across the board. This is the necklace that I made at this month's meeting. Took forever, with all the crimping, but I like how it turned out!

project 365 - day 211

I finally decided it was time to tackle the organization of the downstairs hall closet. This has been a huge disaster for the longest time, and getting anything in or out of there was a giant PITA. I bought a bunch of organizational stuff from Target and spent a couple hours on it, and this is the end result.

project 365 - day 210

Another awesome piece from the Thirty-One Fall/Winter collection. This is one of the new skirt purses, with one of the new skirts. The main difference from the older style skirt purses is that the sides have snaps instead of ribbons. I love that the old skirts fit the new purses still, though. And the new skirts fit the old purses! So naturally I will have to own one of everything. lol.

project 365 - day 209

The sweetest kitty who ever lived, Sherbert. He's the friendliest creature on the planet, honestly. When I get in bed at night he likes to come lay on my chest for some scratching (me scratching him, not vice versa). It's funny how you come to look forward to that quiet time.

project 365 - day 208

The new Fall/Winter line is out for Thirty-One! I LOVE this new thermal tote. Maybe I'll keep this one in the car for when I need it...

project 365 - day 207

Fluffy cat in his favorite spot yet again. After 207 days of Project 365 I am certainly running out of things to photograph on a daily basis. I guess we tend to do the same things over and over again around here.

project 365 - day 206

We have had more preseason stuff this year with football than any other year in the past. Now we've got regularly scheduled preseason practices. Though technically this is actually pre-preseason. I guess eventually we'll be playing year round.

project 365 - day 205

Another giant installment of Homemade Gourmet, which I got from Sharon off one of my yahoo groups! Woohoo!

project 365 - day 204

We took a trip to the nighborhood pool at night, for the first time in like forever. I forgot how pretty it looks when it's all lit up!

project 365 - day 203

While it might appear that my child is trying to kill the cat, she is actually just trying to hold him in place because she wanted me to take a picture of him. Poor kitty.

project 365 - day 202

Nicole loves playing with my phone. She constantly wants to watch TV on it. God forbid we go somewhere without Hannah Montana being available to entertain her.

Thursday, July 16, 2009

project 365 - day 201

Nicole LOVES to do puzzles. She loves it even more so if I do them with her. I think she got this one at Easter but we're finally breaking it out. Surprisingly difficult, for a kid's puzzle. She was funny because it was 100 piece puzzle, and it said 5+ on the side, so she told me that it was 100 pieces, and it might take a little longer for the two of us to do it because you were supposed to have five people do it together. lol

project 365 - day 199

It's still preseason, so this football training camp is like practice for all us parents who will spend the entire fall sitting on bleachers and in lawn chairs watching our sons out there playing the game.

project 365 - day 198

While the kids were at grammy's, they spent some time making "creations" on the floor using dominoes, poker chips, etc. This is one of their masterpieces, which they insisted I photograph.

Sunday, July 12, 2009

project 365 - day 197

Since the kids were at my mom's for the weekend, Perry flew the two of us down to Venice to eat lunch on the beach. Just a quick trip, so we didn't get to explore hardly at all, but this is a shot taken from the pier off the restaurant we ate at.

project 365 - day 196

Good old Jasper...look how grey his face has gotten. Now that he's on insulin, though, he's doing much better than he was. He seems younger than he did, but I know he'll not be around forever.

Friday, July 10, 2009

project 365 - day 195

Jefferson is quite a photogenic cat, IMO. When we first got him I thought he was a little strange looking, but I guess now I'm used to him. But be honest, is his face a little weird? Or maybe it's just that he's put on weight and filled out some...?

project 365 - day 194

This is a delicious pie I made with one of my pie mixes...I LOVE all the food companies, it's amazing that I'm not selling for any of them yet. Probably because I could never decide which is my fave!

project 365 - day 192

Why do we continue to receive magazines? This is the current pile in the guest room of ones we've not gotten around to reading yet. Maybe I need to set a goal of reading one a day till they're gone.

project 365 - day 191

Over the weekend, I cleaned majorly in the bedroom. This is the top of the entertainment armoir. Previously this had a bunch of baskets on it that were holding all of the not-yet-used candles. Of which there were a lot. I got rid of many of them, the sizes that I no longer use, and cleaned this up so it can show off the pretty vase and just a couple candles.

project 365 - day 190

I cleaned out the turtle tank and got another rock to put under the filter so I could give them more swimming room. I am really pleased with how it turned out, even if it was a TON of work. I think they'll like having more space, too.

Saturday, July 4, 2009

project 365 - day 189

Here is Owen and Nicoole on fourth of July. We had a wonderful time. In this shot I told Owen to act like he liked his sister. I think he pulled it off pretty well. lol

project 365 - day 188

With Once Upon a Family going away, and their awesome 40% off deal for June, AND using hostess rewards, I was finally able to get these beautiful wooden chests for the kids that I've been wanting forever. Normally $100, I got them for $30 each, which was such a fabulous deal I couldn't pass it up. I don't know where I'm going to put them yet, but I'll find a place.

project 365 - day 187

One more Thirty-One thing - this is my new little make-up bag that I throw in my purse. Love the stripes!

project 365 - day 186

When I cleaned out my purse, I found that the little bag I'd been using as a camera bag had a pen leak all over the outside of it (naturally none of my pens have caps, sicne I chew the caps, so this is bound to happen). Luckily I had this new little change purse from Thirty-One that I just got that is PERFECT for the small camera I carry around with me!
